Group Ten is a Canadian-based platinum and palladium explorer with its main project Stillwater West in Montana, USA, which nestles over a strike length of 25 km with its neighbor Sibanye Stillwater. Sibanye operates the world's highest grade platinum and palladium mines.
Along with the South African Bushveld and Great Dyke Complex, the North American Stillwater Complex is considered one of the best regions in the world for finding both platinum group element mineralization and nickel and copper ores. David Broughton, consultant to Ivanhoe Mines and Group Ten Metals, estimates that there are several exceptional "platreef-style" discoveries still possible at Stillwater West. Mineralization at Stillwater West is already beginning at surface and initial drill results confirm strong mineralization that should lead to an initial mineral resource estimate. Gold and pure batteryable nickel have also been discovered at Stillwater West. Both Sibanye's and Group Ten's projects are considered to be palladium-rich, a rare constellation in the world and favourable to the overall valuation in terms of palladium price trends.
Since the Roundup Conference in Vancouver in January 2019, Group Ten Metals has also been closely monitored by industry circles. Should Sibanye Stillwater decide to expand its own concession area, or one of the other industry leaders in the region, there is no way around Group Ten Metals.
Stillwater West offers the opportunity to become one of the leading U.S.-based sources for the advancement of electric mobility and other climate-friendly applications.
